Loose back and seat cushions
Some models have cushions that are not permanently attached. Although they may shift a little while being sat on, it is very easy to return them to their normal positions. Cushions which are filled with feathers, foam rods or wadding should be shaken out and patted at regular intervals so that they retain their original shape.
Dimensions
Upholstering is both a handicraft and manual labor. Soft materials are also involved which means that dimensional tolerances cannot be avoided and all specified dimensions are approximate dimensions. We reserve the right to make changes which improve care or other features as well as to correct specifications that are not right.
Seam appearance
Depending on the model, the seam appearances of leather and textile coverings differ. The size of the leather hides may not be sufficient to cover especially large areas and additional seams may become necessary. In addition, decorative seams may have to be omitted if the selected material is unsuitable for this purpose.
Movable arm and backrests
Movable arm and backrests are equipped with particularly high-quality functional joints which allow individual relaxing. Depending on the model, the arm and backrests can be adjusted either manually (steplessly or via catch mechanism) or electrically. However, remember that the parts with the functional joints can only carry a load of up to 40 kg. So please do not sit on armrests that have been positioned upright or on backrests that have been folded back.
Manual adjustment of the functional parts: On delivery, the armrest is folded over onto the body and the backrest is in its upright position. The arm and backrests can be adjusted by simply pulling them up or pushing them back to the next catch position. To return them to their basic position, pull or push the back or armrests gently past the last catch position (i.e., end position). This unlocks the catch mechanism.
