We have tried to keep our online Magnetic Planner as simple and self-explanatory as possible. Here is a list of the most important functions:

First select the product you want.

All available elements now appear on the left side of your screen: Individual sofas and armchairs, but also elements that can be combined into living room sets and add-on groups.

The right side of your screen shows the planning area. Use the zoom buttons 25, 50 and 100 to enlarge the view or make it smaller - any time you want.
 
To make your plan as realistic as possible, you can enter the exact dimensions in the floor plan so that you can see exactly how things would look. To do this, select Draw Floor Plan and choose the floor plan that most nearly fits your available space at home. You will then be asked to enter the exact dimensions. You can also use Modify Floor Plan to further adapt these dimensions to your concrete living situation: move, add or delete points.

Plan Furniture takes you back to the selection of elements.
 
The CREATE mode appears. Now select the element you want and drag it to the floor plan.  

The tool switches automatically to the MOVE mode when the selected element cannot be combined with other elements - in the case of a single sofa, for example. You can move and turn the element or the elements in a room with this function. The measurements are also indicated at the same time.
 
The tool switches automatically to the EDIT mode when the selected element can be combined with other elements. Pick out a suitable add-on element and place it next to the first element. If you selected a doable combination, it will snap on active (glowing) items. Both are automatically shaded in gray. You can then be sure that your chosen combination is actually possible. When you have finished the combination, click COMPLETE and the measurements of your combination appear.

Elements that you no longer need or that don't go with the other elements can be deleted and removed with the red X any time you want.

After you have finished planning, you can print out the result or save it in a pdf format file and take it with you when you visit your furniture dealer.
