After our traditional in-house trade show in May, we are opening the doors of our 3000-square-meter showroom again in our native Michelau for the "Upper Franconia Partner Days" – even if in a somewhat smaller setting. We are expecting interested specialized visitors who didn’t have time to visit the succession of trade shows - Cologne in January, Milan in April and the in-house trade show in May – and who also still have the fall date in their trade show calendars. The ideal opportunity to talk and, on the side, make plans for the new year.

The trade fair spring of 2010 was brought to a close by our in-house exhibition in Michelau. Three big trade fair appearances during the past 4 months – we look back on this record with satisfaction. And all three appearances confirm one thing: The desire for functional furniture that offers both first-class design and highest quality. And so we not only used our 3000 square-meter showroom to present the most important components of our collection, but also our latest developments which provide impressive proof of what is common to all our products: The love of detail, quality and design. A very special visit was announced right at the beginning. “TV Oberfranken” (Upper Franconian TV) reported live during its special program Zu Gast (to be a guest).

The Salon is one of the world’s most important furniture trade shows and attracts more than 300,000 visitors to Milan every year. And, of course, we also presented our innovations here over more than 400 m2, and were immediately able to score on several points: creativity, innovative technology and exclusive materials. The prominent location in hall 20 offered an excellent starting position. Thanks to the open conceptualization and the clear-cut lines of the standard architecture, the stand was designed transparently – with lots of space in which to stage the first-class designer pieces. We were also very well received by both dealers and the international public. The positive resonance during the Milan trade show clearly demonstrates the desire for functional pieces of furniture which impress with attractive design and finest quality.
Ja zu Deutschland - Say yes to Germany
KOINOR is the company of the month for April
We rely totally on Germany as our business location and manufacture all our products at our locations in Northern Bavaria. There where upholstering is at home. "The thought of transferring our production to a low-wage country has never even entered our heads. We have complete trust in our production sites in Germany and our dedicated employees who lovingly make these unique pieces of furniture and, at the same time, ensure high quality standards," says CEO Gerd Bissinger, emphasizing the importance of Germany as a business location. Good reasons for the "Ja zu Deutschland" initiative to make Koinor the company of the month for April. Companies who do their manufacturing in Germany and anyone else interested in "made in Germany" products can register at the portal www.ja-zu-deutschland.de.

At the beginning of every year, the entire Who-Is-Who of the international furniture branch traditionally presents itself at the Cologne Exhibition Center. And we are right in the middle of things again: With a totally new stand in a highly frequented location this year. An especially clear-cut, standard architecture and many shades of modern gray guaranteed a relaxed trade fair atmosphere despite the more than 1100 square meter exhibition area. A suitable framework in which to show off our innovative power. And that's exactly what we did with many new sofa programs, single armchairs and recliners. New tables and chairs also had a chance to strut their stuff. And it was worth the effort. We were rewarded with a great number of visitors and full order books. Altogether, a successful trade fair and a rousing start for the new year.
