The time had come in April: We participated in the trade fair in Milan from April 9th to 14th. We exhibited the highlights of our product line in hall 8: Self-contained shapes, luscious aesthetics and intelligent functionality coupled with unique coverings and presented with an exciting trade fair concept.

Perfect crafting, functional strengths, competence in comfort and, last but not least, the self-contained beauty of design were the deciding factors for the jury. The arm chair JINGLE from designer Jan Armgardt and the modern functional sofa VOGUE from designer Tamara Haerty made by KOINOR – the upholstered furniture manufacturer of Upper Franconia – have been chosen for the coveted interior innovation award. The interior innovation award is one of the world’s most highly regarded design prizes in the furnishings branch. It was started during 2002 at the imm cologne which is also the conceptual sponsor of the competition. Organizer is the “Rat für Formgebung” (i.e., German design council) which awards this honor to innovative, top performers in all product areas of the branch.

First an enthusiastic reception by our trade partners and then the lively interest of end consumers. In addition to the continuous further development of accepted forms and functions, we traditionally also exhibited models which are totally new. Whether a single elegant piece or an inviting communicative living room set – these pieces of upholstered furniture stand out in design, comfort and functionality.

Although the furniture trade fair in Brussels is one of the furniture branch’s smaller specialized trade fairs in central Europe, it is an important platform for both existing and new customer contacts from Belgium, France and The Netherlands. So it’s no wonder that it has a secure place in our trade fair calendar. We presented our innovations from November 4th to November 7th 2012 - not only new models and functions but also useful additions to our program and expansions of our product range - over an area of approx. 400 square meters.

After Cologne and Milan, we successfully put on a traditional in-house show on our own turf at our showroom in Michelau. Interested specialized visitors, trade partners and representatives of the press were able to take a good look at the latest product developments. Unlike in Cologne or Milan, visitors could view our entire collection from September 29th to Oktober 3rd 2012 and obtain a complete overview of the innovative upholstered furniture, first-class tables and chairs and high-quality accessories.
