Our program is packed with variety: The imm cologne is the first trade fair highlight of the year for us. And naturally, the event also triggers a tremendous amount of creative energy. Again we have spared no effort to make the presentation of “made in Germany” product innovations a resounding success over an area of approximately 1,100 square meters. Natural leathers and high-quality raw hide textiles underline our feel for trendy slipcovers, and intelligently integrated functions demonstrate our competence in providing comfort.

Perfect crafting, functional strengths, competence in comfort and, last but not least, the self-contained beauty of design were the deciding factors for the jury. The rocking recliner JETLAG and the modern functional sofa ANIMO made by KOINOR – the upholstered furniture manufacturer of Upper Franconia – have been chosen for the coveted interior innovation award. The interior innovation award is one of the world’s most highly regarded design prizes in the furnishings branch. It was started during 2002 at the imm cologne which is also the conceptual sponsor of the competition. Organizer is the “Rat für Formgebung” (i.e., German design council) which awards this honor to innovative, top performers in all product areas of the branch.

Although the furniture trade fair in Brussels is one of the furniture branch’s smaller specialized trade fairs in central Europe, it is an important platform for both existing and new customer contacts from Belgium, France and The Netherlands. So it’s no wonder that it has a secure place in our trade fair calendar. We presented our innovations - not only new models and functions but also useful additions to our program and expansions of our product range - over an area of approx. 400 square meters.

Introductory campaign for charmelle
High-quality upholstery fabrics which are “made in Germany” are very popular at the moment. High-quality textile concepts and colorful presentations are being shown again at international furniture trade fairs. After the Q2 at the beginning of the year, we have now also added charmelle from the Rohleder company to our program.
With its gentle softness and indescribable feel, Charmelle had already enjoyed great popularity in the past. The new version of the velour now has a new look with progressive colors and fascinating designs. Younger, more fashionable, more in keeping with contemporary times. Already presented in Milan and at the in-house show, we are now introducing the soft velour to a wide range of dealerships. We’re ready for the autumn!
In-house show for Upper Franconia - 2011

After Cologne and Milan, we successfully put on a traditional in-house show on our own turf at our showroom in Michelau. Interested specialized visitors, trade partners and representatives of the press were able to take a good look at the latest product developments. Unlike in Cologne or Milan, visitors could view our entire collection and obtain a complete overview of the innovative upholstered furniture, first-class tables and chairs and high-quality accessories.
