Flat woven fabric is two-dimensional and is created by the right-angled crossing of two threads The yarns that are used here are made of fully synthetic materials. Fabric mixtures with a correspondingly high polyester content are particularly durable, hold their shape and are light resistant. They do not wrinkle easily and are very stable. They create an elegant, plain-colored flat woven fabric with thick, modern surface structure a basic material which is ideal to combine with patterned materials. 16-KI reliably meets the strict requirements of the Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel (German Quality Association for Furniture – DGM). 16-KI has been tested for harmful substances and certified in accordance with the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

We test all our fabrics for their functional characteristics and fulfillment of the DGM quality guidelines RAL-GZ 430 “Allgemeine Güte- und Prüfbestimmungen für Möbel” (general quality and test specifications for furniture). 16-KI fulfills the strict requirements as follow:
