20-CHARMELLE-CLOUD is Rohleder's latest innovation, a high quality velour fabric with a wonderfully soft and fluffy surface that is made in Germany. Its look changes depending on the quality of the light, resulting in a so-called light and shade effect. This effect gives velour its visual appeal. The velvet-like fabric consists of 100% synthetic hitex yarns that make it extremely durable. 20-CHARMELLE-CLOUD is washable, easy to care for and above all easy to clean (common household stains are easily removed). The fabric is also outstandingly light fast, hypoallergenic and perfect for allergy sufferers. It consistently meets the standards of the German furniture quality assurance association Deutsche Gütegemeinschaft Möbel (DGM). It also comes with a 5-year warranty on the wear and care properties described if used in a non-commercial, home environment.
We test all our fabrics for their functional characteristics and fulfillment of the DGM quality guidelines RAL-GZ 430 “Allgemeine Güte- und Prüfbestimmungen für Möbel” (general quality and test specifications for furniture): 20-CHARMELLE-CLOUD fulfills the strict requirements as follow: Resistance to abrasion: 50.000 cycels / Martindale | Lifht fastness: Fastness number 5 | Rubbing fastness, dry: Fastness number 4 | Rubbing fastness, wet: Fastness number 3-4
