Nappa leather with semi gloss surface
1.3 - 1.5 mm thick
B-BULL is a coated 1.3-1.5 mm thick leather with a striking appearance. The cowhide is tanned using a mineral process and dyed in a barrel of water-soluble dyes. It is also given a further coating on its grain side. Very small, insoluble colour specks are applied to the surface to serve as an additional protective layer. The pores of the leather are visibly closed. This gives the leather a highly uniform appearance that still displays the majority of its natural characteristics. It also makes B-BULL more resistant and extremely maintenance and user friendly. At the same time, the additional grain impression ensures a uniform surface texture and preserves the leather’s natural properties. The conspicuous dollaro look reflects the typical pebble grain and characteristic grain textures of thick leather. Typical features of
this homely upholstery material with its characteristic aura are its semi-gloss surface and soft, full leather furniture handle. B-BULL reliably fulfils the requirements of the German Association for Quality Furniture (DGM).
We test all our leathers for their functional characteristics and fulfillment of the DGM quality guidelines RAL-GZ 430 “Allgemeine Güte- und Prüfbestimmungen für Möbel” (general quality and test specifications for furniture): B-BULL fulfills the strict requirements as follow:
Light-fastness: min. level 5 | Rubbing fastness: min. level 4
We process natural and growth marks based on the particular piece of covering and the character of the feature. Only real faults which might negatively affect the quality of the leather are left out of the covering.
